Gridfinity Drawer
Type in your drawer's size and paint your boxes on the grid. You get a Gridfinity baseplate that fills the drawer, cut to fit your printer, and every box.

What it makes
A Gridfinity baseplate that fills your drawer wall to wall, and the boxes that sit on it. The grid takes as many 42 mm squares as fit, and the plate fills the space left round them, so nothing slides.
You paint the boxes on the grid, seen from above: tap or drag over squares that touch, then Create box. A box can be a block, a line or an L. Every box takes the default height and compartments, or its own. Pick a box and tap its edges to add label ledges, or the lines between its squares to add walls. Identical boxes share one STL, with the count in the file name.
Fitting your printer
The baseplate is cut on grid lines into pieces that fit your bed, 220 mm by default. The pieces sit side by side in the drawer and the drawer walls hold them together.
Boxes are kept to 5 squares long, 209.5 mm, so every one prints on a 220 mm bed.
Printing it
- Print the fit test first: a 1 × 1 box and a 2 × 1 piece of plate.
- The box should drop in and lift out with no wobble. Everything follows the Gridfinity spec, so it should.
- Boxes print feet down, no supports. The chamfer under the lip is 45°.
- Baseplate pieces print flat. 0.2 mm layers, PLA is fine.
Questions
Will these work with other Gridfinity parts?
Yes. The plate pockets and the box feet follow the standard profile, so boxes from other makers drop into this plate and these boxes drop into theirs.
How do labels work?
A label is a flat ledge just under the rim, 12 mm deep, for a sticker or a printed label. Its underside is 45°, so it prints without supports. Set a default edge, length and depth for every box. Or pick a box, tap Labels and tap the edges you want, then give any label its own length.
How tall should the boxes be?
Leave the height at 0 and the boxes are made as tall as the drawer allows, less the top gap. Set a height in units to make them shorter, or give one box its own height.
